Gregory (Greg) Homyak:

I have been a Mac user for most of my life. From the Apple IIe when I was a tiny kid to a SE-30, Performa, PowerBook, and MacBook, I have used many Macs over my life. I have been a Mac tech and consultant for the last 10 years and work for a San Diego Apple Specialist, the original Apple Stores. I have two BS degrees from Coleman College, a local technology college in San Diego, and kept my Mac love even when going through classes that only dealt with Windows and Linux. I bought my first Apple TV as soon as Steve Jobs allowed me to and waited months for it to ship. I love the darn thing to death as it finally brought my iTunes content to my HDTV without some convoluted cable connections from my laptop. I also have owned or currently own iPods, iPhones, Airports, and other various Apple gear.

Once I learned that there were hacks for the Apple TV I signed up for ATVPatch. I ended up talking to the owner and site administrator and they found that they could use my skills to help other users with the patch. I became a forum moderator there and tried to put out as many fires as I could. The development of ATVPatch was slow and buggy at times. I soon got frustrated and moved over to the aTVFlash software. The main developer there was looking for a forum moderator and once he learned I was one over at ATVPatch, he quickly hired me for the job. aTVFlash is also not without its bugs, but the development is much better and it is a much better atmosphere. I still have to put out some of the fires, but the users seems a little nicer than the ones at ATVPatch were.

My thoughts about the show:

Even with my involvement with aTVFlash I still try to keep my opinions as my own and do not let anyone other than myself influence what I say on the show. You can be sure that I will speak my mind on whatever topic I am talking about at the time. If I happen to have a co-host on the show I will let him/her say whatever they want to within reason (no cussing.) I feel that without censorship (still no cussing though) the show has more valuable content in it and will have more value to the listeners. I want to interact with my listeners as much as possible, so please feel free to contact me anytime via E-mail, Twitter, or on this website. I will respond to all my listeners comments if it requires response. Well for now that is all I have to say, unless you want me to say more. :D
